Willie here from Willie’s World of Watercraft. And do I have a deal for you!Are you tired of the 9 to 5 grind of aliens invading your planets, battles to be won, trophies to be lost? Do you need a break from all that gratuitous violence? Are you looking for some peace and relaxation? Well we here at Willie’s World of Watercraft, or WWW for short, have just the ticket for you!
Come on down to the virtual harbor and hop behind the wheel of the Titanic, that’s right, not just any ordinary pleasure boat, but the grandmother of all cruise ships. Take her out for a spin and no need to worry about wayward icebergs.
If you feel that perhaps the Titanic is a bit too big for your liking, we also have available some smaller watercraft. You could try out any of a number of other boats and ships from harbor patrol boats to speed boats to yachts, we even have a cargo ship or two you could try your hand at.
In addition to the great selection of ships here at WWW we also have a number of tasks for you to perform while giving them a spin. For instance, should you like to give the cargo ship a whirl we would be very appreciative if you would take and deliver some cargo containers for us about the harbor. We will, of course, make sure to place way point markers so that you know where to go.
Looking for some speed in your life? Try out our speedboat! We have a very nice course all laid out and ready for you to go Go GO! And don’t be afraid of the jumps, it can be quite exhilarating to catch some air in a watercraft.
If you prefer we can set you up in our yacht and have you tour around a local island and see some sights. While your out you can pick up some of your friends and give them a ride and let them experience ocean travel in style.
All of our watercraft are equipped with the latest in GPS navigation systems as well as radar and computerized mapping so that you will always know where you are and where the waypoint markers are located. Be careful and considerate of other watercraft, we don’t want to have any accidents while your out. You will find that should you actually run into anything you will run up a bill for any damages relating to your poor piloting skills. Our ships are also equipped with port and starboard engine controls, rudder controls (so you can turn the ship), and even in some cases bow thruster controls (to help with docking).
Beware of heavy weather, you may find yourself in light to heavy fog or even high winds and rain. Weather conditions can definitely affect how the watercraft maneuver. Oh, yes, and remember that each boat/ship will handle differently. Some, like the speedboats, will accelerate quickly and will loose speed quickly when the engines are shut down. Others like the cargo ship, take a while to build up speed and once they get moving they take time and distance to come to a complete stop.
And should you not be familiar with steering watercraft, remember that you have to begin your turn before you get to where you actually want to turn. Just one of those little things that some people just don’t know about boats, and end up driving into the pier when they don’t mean to.
Just as a reminder, should you come across a person that is drowning, please be kind and stop to help. You never know when you may need help yourself some day, so give that courtesy to others and save a life when you can.
One last thing, when your on the Titanic, take a moment to wander about the deck and see the ship. Its an amazing piece of floating architecture and you should really take the time to appreciate your surroundings when you have the opportunity.
That’s all for now We at Willie’s World of Watercraft would like to thank you for taking the time to watch our ad and we hope to see you down at the docks soon. And bring the kids, we are a friendly bunch down here and would love the opportunity to teach the younger generation a thing or two about life on the water.
