ESRB: E

Genre: puzzle
Setting: puzzle
Tumble Bees is a word game by Pogo which involves hexagon shaped letters falling down in your honeycomb. The goal is to create words that line up next to each other before your honeycomb fills up completely. Each word that is completed fills the honey pot which in turn will yield tokens once the pot is full. Colored tiles help break apart more honeycombs if they are included in the word.

Bonus rounds involve creating five letter words where you have the chance to earn extra tokens. Tokens are used to buy outfits for your character which can be interesting during Halloween where you dress up in fun costumes. There is a large Pogo community, with 18 million players worldwide. Pogo.com allows you play games for free. While playing Tumble Bees, you can chat with up to 60 players who are playing in the same room.

Pogo.com is partnering with Rosie O’Donnell to raise money for Rosie’s For All Kids Foundation. By playing Tumble Bees between May 17 and May 23, you will automatically be entered for a chance to play and chat with Rosie during the June Pogo Playfests.

Tumble Bees is a simple but addictive spelling game. It is targeted towards the “casual” player, but it looks like it could easily turn into a hardcore addiction.

About the Author, Sophia (A.K.A Soapy)

I am a Canadian living in California with my husband and my precious baby Bailey (95lbs of labrador fun). I work full time and go to school, so finding the time to play video games is tough. I still manage to sneak some time in, whether it's playing on my GBA while I wait in line or sitting in the back seat of my car so I can use our dvd player to play the Gamecube on long trips. I've always been fairly decent at playing games to give my younger brother some competition. I started at the early age of 6 when I inherited an Atari 2600. I played any computer game I could get my hands on during those Commodore 64 days. Now I'll play anything from RPGs to first person shooters, racing games or basically anything that's fun and allows me to play with at least 3 other people.
