Travelogue 360 Paris is one of those titles that is really rather difficult to review. It's not really a game in the traditional sense, but it has gameplay elements. It's basically a seek and find adventure on a very basic level.
It is aimed to inform people about France by making them find things in various locations around the city. In keeping with Paris, France, it has rather surreal visuals, including such things as giant mimes and various other French-type things, like baguettes and berets. You are able to view the environment in 360 degrees - hence the name - to find all the items on your list. To aid you, one can focus in and out; there also is a tip finder, which resets each time you use it.
Tourist Mode will allow you to wander about and simply look at things. The game proper consists of lists of items one must fit into your suitcase - as many as possible through rotation or trial and error - while under a time limit.
All in all, this game would be a great way of getting a youngster enthused about going to Paris and France. It's quite an interesting learning tool that plays nicely and is easy to get into.
The game runs well and does not seem to have any bugs. It's well-made, the instructions are clear and it works well. Travelogue 360 Paris is a cute little game for those who are interested in the world and are naturally curious. An educational game that is neither boring nor lame is always welcome. This falls into that category.
