Konami had a trio of Dance Dance Revolution games on display at E3 this year, with a slightly different model representing the various console platforms. Here's what each has to offer!

Dance Dance Revolution Universe 3 is the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 title of the bunch. This game presents a completely new user interface and dance effects that support the new gaming modes. This includes Quest Mode, in which you have a chance to compete in underground dance leagues to become a champion performer. Quest mode doesn't have you competing against other players, however, because that's reserved for the online song list challenges! (Well, and local multiplayer, but that's not a new feature.) Weekly song lists will be created and published to the online services where players can compete for the highest scores in a variety of ways. The base game will ship with 70 songs, but more will be available via download, making the available content potentially limitless.

Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party 2 for the Wii features Wii-mote and Nunchuk inclusion for the required dance moves. All new player characters are provided, though many players are especially excited about the inclusion of Ninteno Miis for Hottest Party 2. Yes indeed; you can bring your OWN character to boogy for this one! The game includes 50 songs, new dance venues, retouched motion capture dancers and redone dance effects for extra sparkly goodness while you hit your arrows!

Dance Dance Revolution X for the PlayStation 2 is an homage title featuring original music. The game itself present a slightly more urban theme, with character dress and song selection adjusted accordingly. The big feature in DDRX is the inclusion of eight-player battle mode.
