Harvest Moon: My Little Shop (WiiWare, Q3 2009)

Congratulations! You are the proud owner of a brand spankin’ new shop in Clover Town, set in the Harvest Moon universe. The town is filled with many familiar Harvest Moon faces from the series, and you can interact with them. Decide what you’re going to sell and build you business to help the town grow and prosper. Will you make fruit juice? How about ice cream? Maybe decorating eggs is more your style.

In order to assemble your products, you have to play a variety of minigames. To make juice, you knock down the ingredients your customer has requested from a moving conveyor belt, then blend them to their desired consistency. Do a nice job and you’ll have a content customer (and some cash).

Use the money you make to buy loads of stuff to improve your stores and your products. Buy seeds to grow different fruits for newer and better juice mixes and tools to help improve your shops.

If you’ve explored all of the possibilities of Harvest Moon: My Little Shop and find yourself wanting more, you can download additional chapters via WiiWare.

About the Author, Cat Wendt (A.K.A pragmacat)

Cat's passion for writing began at the tender age of 10 when she convinced her 5th grade teacher to let her use “sustained silent reading time” for scribbling frantically in a notebook. It took her awhile to work up the testicular fortitude to share her work with anyone, but now she freelances as both a writer and graphic designer. She cites her diverse background as her biggest influence: her artist mom is half-Chinese, half-Greek, and from Hawai'i; her film-loving, world-music DJ dad is from Montana; and she lived in both San Francisco, California and Great Falls, Montana while growing up. She loves at least a little bit about virtually everything and aims to be a Jane of all trades.

She is also allergic to felines.
