iFish Adventure is one of those great spare-time, standing-in-line-waiting-to-be-next, time-wasting games. You begin play as a small guppy-sized fish and must eat other fish on the game board without being eaten yourself. The game board is filled with different types and sizes of fish. You control the movement of your fish by using the tilt function on your iPhone/iPod Touch. The greater the angle of tilt, the faster your fish will swim. However, the boards are small, and the other fish can swim from off-screen, so be careful.

Each game board, you have the objective of eating the other fish. You can only eat fish that are smaller than you, and doing so will cause you to grow. Eventually, all the fish on the screen will be a meal for your hungry fish belly. Even though you grow during the game, you still must be careful, as there are jellyfish and trash that will harm you no matter what size you are. Mzl

The graphics are truly a delight. They are colorful and easy on the eyes. There are many different boards that can be unlocked by becoming the biggest fish in the sea. The animations are smooth, and the backgrounds are beautiful! The sounds and music in iFish go right along with the graphics. You can definitely tell there was some thought and effort put into the development of iFish Adventure and that the creation of a quality game was a goal for the developers.

iFish Adventure isn’t an expensive game. It’s a lot of fun, and like I said before, it’s great for those moments you have 5-10 minutes to waste. I played through a few boards while waiting to get a nail taken out of my tire the other day. My wife, who was with me, asked what I was playing, looked over my shoulder, and after I finished the board I was on, took the game for herself the rest of the day. She sat there smiling and eating and dodging fish off and on for the next few days. iFish Adventure is one of those games you won’t be disappointed that you purchased.

About the Author, Patric Starr (A.K.A Rinjo)

I am a video game fanatic. I breathe and live video games. I play them every moment I get and if I am not playing them I am working on them. I love most games, and will give any game a shot, no matter the age bracket or gender targets. I love poking around these fantastic creations of art and actually appreciating the effort put into them. I do have a passion for bizarre games with unique hooks, the Katamari series being one of my favorites. Although I consider myself to be a gamer first and foremost, I am blessed enough to work in the industry I have so much passion for. But be assured, if I am not designing/writing for games or creating art on some level, I am most certainly playing!
