The team at Suponix (developers of iRoach) also sent me a copy of Budget Care. This app for the iPhone and iPod Touch is to help you budget your hard-earned ducats. It is simple to use and quite helpful for tracking your daily expenditures. I have found it extremely helpful in tracking how much money I spend on those superfluous impulse buys.

Budget Care comes with preset categories that help track things like food expense, car insurance, rent, etc. However, there is a nifty “add new” category button, which enables you to create your own areas of expense; say for instance, a videogame habit (hope my wife doesn’t see that category). Another cool feature is the Statistics tab. Here you can look at your expenses on Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly settings. You can also check out your expenses in a pie chart or bars. Under the settings tab, you can also set the program up for different currencies from around the world.

All in all, Budget Care is a great program for tracking expenses, especially when you are out and about. It isn’t going to replace Quickbooks, but it isn’t meant to. Budget Care is a support program, and with the ability to export your expense report, you should really consider picking this one up. It’s worth it.

About the Author, Patric Starr (A.K.A Rinjo)

I am a video game fanatic. I breathe and live video games. I play them every moment I get and if I am not playing them I am working on them. I love most games, and will give any game a shot, no matter the age bracket or gender targets. I love poking around these fantastic creations of art and actually appreciating the effort put into them. I do have a passion for bizarre games with unique hooks, the Katamari series being one of my favorites. Although I consider myself to be a gamer first and foremost, I am blessed enough to work in the industry I have so much passion for. But be assured, if I am not designing/writing for games or creating art on some level, I am most certainly playing!
