Wow ... that is the only word to come to mind when thinking of Plantronics Gamecom X95 wireless headset for the Xbox 360.

Keep in mind for this review, I was playing Battlefield Bad Company 2, because I thought the overall sound structure of the game is beyond amazing-

I have had a ton of headsets that claim to be the best, but I must say after all is said and done, the GameCom X95 takes the proverbial cake.

Quality: With this particular headset, it fits insanely comfortable around my big head. The X95 is great for long gaming sessions; which I put to the test. With 10 hours of nonstop playing time, I was still very comfortable with it being around my head. It is one of those headsets you barely know is there, even though you have sound booming in your ears. I mean that literally; once I fired that M-95, I was reeled in hook, line and sinker. It sounded as close to the real thing as you can get with a game.

Setup: Honestly, it has to be the easiest setup I have ever come across. You plug the wireless box into the Xbox itself via USB; then you tap into the Left and Right Audio signals via RCAs. Since I use a VGA adapter, it was no problem, but for those that do not have such a thing, you can either connect them to the L+R RCA OUTPUT on the TV or pass through the original cables. Once you setup the box, hold both the buttons (on the headset and wireless box) for about 6 seconds and then boom. You are set!

Features: You will not find a better headset for SEPARATE voice communications and game sound. I have been searching for a very long time for someone to make one that made the controls independent from one another; finally I found one! Chat is crisp and clear, perfect enough to hear those raspy little 12-year-olds that fight with one another over Xbox Live. Usually this is a bad thing, but there is enough bass in this headset to make them sound like 60-year-old men. 81s3kz0syll

Sometimes, though, I like to listen to music. I really like Tom Cruise-ing it up and jamming around in my underwear in the living room with the windows wide open. I don’t want to soil my reputation over people thinking I am playing a game. So that is where the hideaway mic comes in. When I first took this out of the package, I asked myself where the mic was, and with closer inspection, I found it.

Overall, you need to pick up a pair of these! Trust me, you will not be disappointed! In all honesty, since getting Plantronics GameCom X95, I have been even more immersed into the gaming world. I find myself feeling more than ever with this headset. Buy them, love them and then come shake my hand!
