Ninja Bounce is a highly addictive game that relies on your reflexes to move a little ninja character in couple of challenge modes: regular and timed. The game’s design is based on an intuitive interface and offers easy controls. Ninja Bounce gameplay is challenging but a lot of fun.
The player is required to tap on the jump button, thus ensuring the ninja will land in a timely manner on each platform. Other variations in gameplay require the player presses a platform-specific jump button. This can be increasingly difficult as the tempo of the game increases but, with enough practice, scales well across many levels.
The game art is vector-based and refreshing, reflecting a cartoonish and humorous take on ninjas. I would add the overall construction of the game is of high quality, which is a pleasant departure from many games in the app store that simply look bad.
The game contains a multiplayer mode via the iPhone Game Center and also offers the upload of high scores. Currently, the Ninja Bounce development team is running a contest for first-, second- and third-place winners for $100, $50 and $10, respectively. Users need to post a screenshot of their scores to the fan page to enter.
Ninja Bounce is a steal at 99 cents (holiday sale price), and I highly recommend it.
