Galaxy Express is a free iPhone puzzle game in which a player is tasked in guiding a space ship to its destination. This game will appeal to anyone that loves “on-the-go” puzzles and enjoys brain teasers.

What makes Galaxy Express very unique is that the movement is orchestrated via a number of arrows with which a player charts a solution as to how his or her space ship will move on a grid and ultimately arrive to its planetary destination. The game offers 30 increasingly challenging levels with additional 75 levels that can be purchased separately. Galaxy Express is very addictive as there are many challenges that will keep you going (limited number of arrows, asteroids, etc.). It is very rewarding when you solve each level. Mzl

The visual and audio style in the game has a very attractive comic book flavor. The gameplay is intuitive even without a tutorial, although one is provided. The game also looks great on the iPad.

The gameplay rewards careful use of moves, and it is truly rewarding to arrive at one’s destination in the most efficient manner. The game has replay value even among its free levels; although chances are that an average player will go through them easily within an hour. The premium levels are well worth the investment as they are built on the same fun factor present in the free levels.

Overall, Galaxy Express offers a lot of fun value. I highly recommend it as an excellent and fun mental exercise.

I have been addicted to gaming since I played Pong for the first time when I was six years old. In the meantime, I have played thousands of games (all possible genres) on various systems from Atari 7800 and ZX Spectrum to Commodore 64, Commodore Amiga 500, PCs (Intel 8086 to the latest Intel and AMD chipsets), all Nintendo systems, all Sony Playstation systems, all Sega systems and finally Microsoft's XBox. Aside from gaming, I love to read (sci-fi, military history, politics, mysteries, puzzles...) and love to play chess which I do on a daily basis...
