The Konnet Power Pyramid charger is a powerhouse for gamers that play for hours on end with PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. I like this Konnet charger, but I don’t think the price tag is low enough for today’s market.

When I first took the charger out of the box, I thought it looked more like a trophy than a charger. It usually takes longer to charge your controllers through the USB ports on consoles, so this charger charges faster than hooking up to a USB. Konnet has been on the market for a while, and we have seen quite a few chargers that have been great for some owners of various gaming consoles. This Konnet charger is nice, but I didn’t think it was $40 nice.

What is so cool about this charger is that it allows you to charge two wireless PS3 controllers and two wireless Xbox 360 controllers at the same time without the hassle of wires being in the way. The Power Pyramid is a must-have item if you are looking for a charger for both systems instead of for just one console. This saves you from burning up your consoles while you charge your favorite controllers. Konnet-gaming-controller-charger-580x369

It also features some safety technology that lets you charge your controllers without overcharging them. The lights are red if the controllers still need juice. After your controllers are charged, the lights will turn blue. All chargers now use a Controller Protection System that keeps the controllers from being overloaded and ruining your battery or controller faster. The charging times for the Power Pyramid usually depend on the controller type. Using the charger for Xbox controller takes six hours; with the PS3 controller, it takes only three hours.

Overall, the Konnet Power Pyramid has a sleek style and bright vibrant LED colors. It is also a good multifunctional charger for PS3 and Xbox 360 controllers. It fits well with either style of the PS3 or Xbox 360 consoles. Now, I didn’t care for the price, but it is a powerhouse for all gamers that play the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles. I recommend the Power Pyramid if you are a hardcore gamer and need a decent charger for your favorite consoles.

About the Author, Tommy Rodgers (A.K.A Tommy_Gun)

Tommy started playing with the Atari 2600 when he was about 8 years old. Two years after that, his father bought him a brand new Nintendo, and since, Tommy has been addicted to games. Tommy is a full-time student at Full Sail University working toward a bachelor's degree in video game design. He's more into gameplay than story, but he does think that story creates flow in a game and makes the game more interesting. Tommy doesn't like games that have too much story, though. He likes games that have three-fourths gameplay to one-fourth story. To him, gameplay makes the game fun and interesting. Tommy also believes if you are a designer, you have to have that gift to let yourself see all sides of the spectrum of the industry. Games have choices that make the game interesting to the player and those choices need to be logical not irrational. With making games, everything is essential to the creation of the game as a whole. A movie without sound is like a game without gameplay. Everything is accentual to the game as a whole — that is how games create the fun within them.
