One of the both good and bad things about my job at Intelligent Decisions is the fact that I often get to learn about cool new technologies being applied in innovative ways before the general public. I love seeing stuff like that, but unfortunately, it also means I can’t talk about it until it’s publicly released.
But, as of last week, I can now publicly share what we’re doing out of our Simulation and Training Division headquartered in Orlando, Fla.
The Army’s Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) has tapped Intelligent Decisions’ and our partners, such as Advanced Simulation Research, AVT Simulation, L-3 Link, and RealTime Immersive (who we first talked about here) to help develop the first-ever, fully immersive virtual simulation training for U.S. soldiers called the Dismounted Soldier Training System.
You can read the press release and see the cutting-edge video, photos and more here. This is an exciting time for us, and we’re looking forward to sharing other details about the project with you down the road!
