The iPhone’s hardware and software interface provides game designers with unique ways of developing control inputs. If you have every tried making music on the iPhone with Ocarina, then you have probably wondered if there are any games that take advantage of the phone’s audio sensor. Blowing is one such game.

It is very original as to how it is played. In a nutshell, Blowing is played by blowing into the iPhone’s speakers. The object of the game is to keep the ants away from various food items by blowing. The harder the player blows into the speaker grill, the more ants get smashed. This can be fun to a point until people around you start thinking that you are crazy for blowing into a phone. Mzl

The gameplay is intuitive, and the high scores can be shared on Facebook and Twitter making Blowing a competitive game. The graphical presentation is cartoonish while the game sound effects are well-made.

Overall, Blowing is worth getting if you want to impress your friends with its major novelty factor and catchy gameplay.

Aside from gaming, I love to read (sci-fi, military history, politics, mysteries, puzzles...) and love to play chess which I do on a daily basis...
