RabbitDash is an amazingly fun platformer. The player-controlled character is a running rabbit set in a left to right scroller-type arcade game. The goal of RabbitDash is to get the rabbit to cover the longest possible distance, which is set in meters while jumping from one floating platform to another.
Aside from running a risk of falling into an abyss, the rabbit has to also worry about various enemies, which guard the floating platforms. Luckily for the rabbit, there are many power-ups that allow him to increase in size and thus cover more ground. Landing on an enemy will eliminate it off the platform. The rabbit can only have two linked jumps so timing those is essential in avoiding death while jumping from one platform to another.
The visual quality of RabbitDash is overall good. There is only one (potentially infinite) level, which includes different backgrounds (various world destinations like Santorini, Rome, etc. ) — this in essence is not a bad thing. The audio effects and the background music are satisfactory. The bottom line is that the game is hands down fun, and being able to upload your overall meter-based score to the leaderboards instills the competitive spirit in everyone.
I highly recommend RabbitDash, because having played other platformers, I don’t recall having this much fun playing a similar game in a long time.
