I started out as a rabid gamer, but as I found myself almost approaching then beginnings of the makings of the very early markings of middle age, being caught up in work, daily life and family, I've discovered I don't have much time for games anymore. I still play when I can, but it seems as though the halcyon days of 24+ gaming stints are long gone. I've found my time occupied with reading, music and learning new things, but the occasional game is still able to tear me away from everything and plant my butt in front of a computer. If a game is able to do that, then I'm likely to tell other people about it.
